NK does like many others and has looked at China for some inspiration. The result is now visible at the department store where the theme will be "China at NK" for a few weeks.
The theme was presented during a very pleasant evening at NK, where not only Chinese fashion was presented but alsofood, performances and some other things that will be visible in the department store in the coming weeks.
Fashion is an important part of the theme and NK has invited four young Chinese fashion designers. Part of their work is shown in an exhibition that takes place March 10-15.
Something that is visible already is the amazing dress in the windows facing Hamngatan. All windows are taken up by one enormous dress created by Swedish stylist and designer Marina Kereklidou. The dress is created with inspiration from China and is made out of 500 meters of fabric. Do not miss it!
Another thing you should not miss is the demonstration of traditional Chinese massage on March 15 and 16. This takes place in the atrium by the main entrance.
PS On Tuesday March 11 there is a beauty evening at NK at 8pm. Tickets are available for SEK 200 (for 2 persons) and can be bought at NK cosmetics on the ground floor.
